Overview
WildTeam is a registered non-profit and non-government conservation organization in Bangladesh dedicated to protecting endangered wildlife and their habitats, with a strong focus on tiger conservation in the Bangladesh Sundarbans. The organization operates under four core values: believing in people, celebrating nature, being grounded in reality, and acting fearlessly. Its head office is located at Cosmos Centre, 69/1 New Circular Road, Malibagh, Dhaka 1217, Bangladesh. This full-time entry-level position is based in the Sundarbans work station at Mongla, Bagerhat.
The Field Facilitator / Assistant will support conservation projects through community engagement, field surveys, stakeholder coordination, project management, wildlife rescue support, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, knowledge center management, and public relations. The successful candidate will work closely with supervisors, government agencies, community organizations, and local stakeholders to implement conservation initiatives. Previous experience in the Sundarbans region is advantageous. Working hours will follow WildTeam's organizational policy. Vacancy information was not specified. Requirements
Bachelor of Social Science (BSS) or a Bachelor's degree in Biological or Social Sciences, Conservation Management, Environmental Sciences/Studies, Natural Resources Management, Development Studies, Anthropology, or a related discipline.
Experience in community engagement and capacity development initiatives.
Experience in project management.
Experience working with community-based organizations, community behavior change programs, or local government initiatives.
Experience in development cooperation will be considered an advantage.
Previous experience working in the Sundarbans region is preferred.
Strong project management and budget management skills.
Excellent reporting and documentation skills in both Bangla and English.
Strong decision-making, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to coordinate multiple project activities simultaneously.
Skills in coordination, monitoring and evaluation, reporting, and documentation.
Positive attitude, leadership qualities, teamwork, motivation, adaptability, and willingness to join at short notice if required.
