ELECTRO-MECHANICAL CONTROL SERVICES (EMCS) is an established engineering consultancy providing professional MEP and building-services design services, specializing in Electrical, Plumbing, Fire, and HVAC system design, equipment selection, coordination, preparation of design drawings, BOQ, specifications, and tender documentation for residential, commercial, institutional, and industrial projects.

We are currently looking for a qualified and experienced Electrical Design Engineer to join our team on a full-time basis in Dhaka (Kuril). The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing complete electrical design and drawings for building projects, ensuring compliance with international and local standards, and coordinating seamlessly with other engineering disciplines.

• Education: Bachelor/Honors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.

• Experience: At least 8 years of practical experience in engineering firms, consulting firms, escalator/elevator/lift, HVAC system, technical infrastructure, fire fighting and safety.

• Age Limit: At least 35 years.

• Technical Skills: AutoCAD 2D/3D, DIALux, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Electrical BOQ preparation, BNBC 2020, IEC, Accord or RSC Audit compliance, and NFPA standards.

• Soft Skills: Ability to manage workload, meet deadlines, attend client and technical coordination meetings, and provide proper technical explanations and solutions.

• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in dealing with compliance requirements related to Accord, Alliance, RSC or similar safety/compliance organizations, and hands-on design experience in hospitals, high-rise commercial buildings, hotels, and industrial buildings/factories.
