WordPress Support Specialist

Orviko is a dynamic technology solutions provider specializing in web development, digital transformation, and IT support services. We are currently hiring a highly skilled WordPress Support Specialist to join our team for a U.S.-based agency partnership. This is a full-time remote opportunity designed for experienced WordPress professionals who can manage technical support, maintenance, security, and troubleshooting across 30+ active client websites in diverse sectors including B2B, healthcare, SaaS, nonprofit, and service businesses.

The selected candidate will begin with 1–2 months of structured onboarding and training under Orviko before transitioning into direct full-time reporting with the U.S.-based agency team. This role involves managing day-to-day WordPress support tasks through ticketing systems, Asana, Slack, and email. Candidates must handle plugin, theme, and core updates, maintain site security, optimize hosting performance, manage DNS and Cloudflare settings, and troubleshoot technical issues across multiple environments. Work includes content updates, frontend modifications, light development, and support for WooCommerce, Elementor, Divi, Gutenberg, and ACF-based sites.

The role offers a flexible schedule with partial overlap with U.S. time zones and 3–4 hours of daily scheduling flexibility. This is a stable remote opportunity with strong growth potential, leadership exposure, and consistent technical work across real-world projects.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or equivalent practical experience preferred.

• Minimum 3+ years of hands-on WordPress development, maintenance, and support experience.

• Direct experience with ManageWP and Cloudways is mandatory.

• Strong knowledge of WordPress security including hardening, monitoring, malware cleanup, and incident documentation.

• Strong proficiency in HTML and CSS.

• Solid working knowledge of PHP and JavaScript.

• Experience with WooCommerce, ACF, GA4, Google Tag Manager, Elementor, Divi, and Gutenberg editor.

• Fluent English communication skills, both written and spoken.

• Ability to explain technical issues clearly in simple language.

• Experience in agency or multi-client environments preferred.

• Familiarity with Git or version control workflows preferred.

• Strong problem-solving, documentation, communication, and ownership mindset.

• Provide daily WordPress support across 30+ client websites.

• Manage support requests using ticketing systems, Asana, Slack, and email.

• Apply WordPress core, plugin, and theme updates safely with proper testing.

• Review changelogs and perform staging tests for high-risk updates.

• Handle PHP compatibility checks, database cleanup, and routine optimization.

• Perform post-update visual quality assurance.

• Identify and proactively resolve issues outside the original ticket scope.

• Use ManageWP for monitoring, updates, backups, and security checks.

• Detect, quarantine, clean, and document malware incidents.

• Maintain SSL certificates, firewall rules, brute force protection, and uptime alerts.

• Manage hosting environments on Cloudways including backups, restores, and staging.

• Handle DNS changes, Cloudflare configuration, CDN, and WAF rules.

• Support WordPress Multisite environments when required.

• Publish and update blog posts, pages, forms, menus, and SEO metadata.

• Perform frontend design adjustments including spacing, typography, responsiveness, and layout changes.

• Troubleshoot PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, plugin conflicts, server errors, redirects, and WooCommerce checkout issues.

• Communicate proactively and document all findings, changes, and risks clearly.

• Salary: BDT 80,000 – 110,000 per month.
