Manager - Fabric Sourcing

As we expand our operations and strengthen our market presence, we are currently seeking a highly experienced, proactive, and result-oriented professional to join our dynamic team as Manager - Fabric Sourcing based at our corporate office in Dhaka.

The ideal candidate will play a critical, hands-on role in developing, executing, and managing comprehensive fabric sourcing strategies specifically for woven, knit, and denim product categories. This strategic position requires deep technical knowledge of various fabrics, an extensive and strong network of reliable suppliers and mills across Bangladesh, and the proven ability to manage end-to-end sourcing activities independently to meet international buyer standards, quality benchmarks, and tight timelines.

• Strong sourcing network with mills and vendors in Bangladesh for local fabric development and sourcing

• Knowledge of fabric sourcing from China and India will be an added advantage

• Excellent technical knowledge of woven, knit, and denim fabrics

• Strong understanding of fabric construction, GSM, composition, washes, finishes, dyeing, and printing processes

• Knowledge of fabric testing standards and quality parameters

• Strong communication and negotiation skills

• Ability to independently manage fabric developments and sourcing activities

• Experience working with international buyers and brands is required

• Experience in a trading company will be an added advantage

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with fabric mills, vendors, and suppliers across Bangladesh

• Identify and source high-quality woven, knit, and denim fabrics according to buyer specifications

• Manage fabric development, sampling, and approval processes

• Conduct fabric testing and ensure compliance with quality standards and parameters

• Negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers

• Coordinate with international buyers and internal teams for timely execution

• Monitor market trends and new developments in fabric technology and finishes

• Ensure all sourcing activities meet international compliance and quality requirements
