The Goethe-Institut is the official cultural institute of the Federal Republic of Germany and operates worldwide. We promote knowledge of the German language abroad and foster international cultural co-operation. We are looking for a dedicated colleague to join our team in Dhaka from 1 November 2026.

As an Information Technology Administrator, you will be responsible for overseeing our IT infrastructure, managing networks, and providing comprehensive technical support to ensure smooth daily operations. Remuneration will be provided in accordance with the local remuneration scheme of the Goethe-Institut Bangladesh.

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent (highly advantageous)

• Minimum 1 to 2 years of experience in the IT and network-related field

• Experience in Training Institutes or Coaching Centers is a plus

• Excellent speaking and writing skills in English

• Knowledge of the German Language or willingness to learn it in a short span of time

• Willingness to embrace latest technology and upgrade skills

• Ability to attend to minor repairs of IT-equipment

• Ability to keep routine records and make reports

• Good decision-making, problem-solving, and time management skills

• Good interaction with internal and external people and customers

• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills

• Flexibility and readiness to work at odd hours, weekends, and under pressure when required
